From Chiropractor to Culture Transformer

My journey as a leader began long before I had the language for what I was experiencing. As a young leader at the YMCA, and later as a chiropractic student, I carried a deep undercurrent of fear, self-doubt, and hesitation. Confidence was not my natural starting place. And yet, something within me—a strong strand of consciousness—kept pulling me forward. It was that inner thread that taught me how to get stronger, to keep going, and to discover what true transformation really meant.

Looking back, I see the common thread woven throughout my life: community. Whether it was guiding skiers through the fear of steep slopes, facilitating healing in water therapy, or holding space in chiropractic group rooms, I have always been immersed in settings where people connect, release fear, and heal together. Over time, I came to understand that the nervous system is not an individual system—it is a collective system. When we gather, regulate, and entrain together, barriers dissolve, awareness deepens, and the power of possibility awakens.

In those early days of studying nervous system entrainment, group transformation, and circle work, I began to see something even larger. This was not just about individual healing. It was about cultural transformation. As early as 2003, I recognized a crisis emerging: people were breaking down in their jobs, suffering from stress, exhaustion, and overwhelm. Today, research confirms this reality—85% of the workforce in America is headed toward burnout. If we continue to avoid looking deeply at how our systems and structures are organized, this crisis will only intensify. Data alone does not transform cultures, but people do.

We are living in a time of divisiveness, disconnection, and cultural fragmentation. But here’s the truth I’ve witnessed again and again: a regulated nervous system does not want separation. It wants connection. It seeks flow, communication, trust, and innovation. When leaders and organizations learn to engage in collective regulation and conscious leadership, we unlock a workforce that is not only more efficient, but also deeply collaborative, innovative, and resilient.

One of my greatest gifts is the ability to see through the illusion of the veil—to perceive restructuring before it even happens. This gift has guided me throughout my entire journey of writing, teaching, and leading transformation. And it has brought me to the mission I serve today: helping organizations step into a new era of leadership by weaving together consciousness, nervous system reprogramming, and cultural evolution.

Transformation always begins with a conversation. A leadership conversation that invites us to pause, to see our shadow, and to choose connection over fear. From there, we begin to reorganize not only ourselves, but also the very culture of our organizations—and the future we are building together.
